RAWALPINDI, Sept 5: Pakistan has one of the most beautiful mountainous areas and foreign tourists should not fear to visit these areas.

This was stated by renowned German climber Reinhold Messner at a press conference here on Tuesday.

Mr Messner, who with his family visited valleys on the lap of Nanga Parbat in the Northern Areas to commemorate memory of his younger brother Gunther Messner who disappeared in the mountains in 1970.

He said that under the auspices of Messner Mountain Foundation a school for boys has been set up in Diamir valley and another school for girls is under construction.
