LAHORE, Sept 2: The British Council will organize one-day seminars on establishing school links in Gujranwala and Lahore on Sept 5 and 6, respectively. British Council sources said on Saturday that a presentation on `Linking for Learning’ would be given at the Gujranwala event.

They said that British Council school links was a programme of global internet projects for students and teachers, which was providing schools in Pakistan an exposure to international curriculum activities.

This presentation, they said, would provide schools information on benefits of schools linking and would detail how a link could be established between schools in Pakistan and the UK.

While a guidance workshop for DFID Global School Partnership Grant Applicants would be arranged in Lahore. —APP
