SWABI: Woman killed by relatives

SWABI, Aug 30: A woman was killed by two relatives here on Wednesday when she refused to give them money. Gul Naz, wife of Nawab Zada, was shot dead allegedly by Bakht Zada and Salain Khan in Maneri Payan. The victim’s husband works in a foreign country.

Police registered an FIR against the accused.

In another incident, Mohammad Farooq of the Yaqoubi area was electrocuted while working in an under-construction judicial complex.

Constable Naiz Mohammad, who had been injured when some people opened fire on a policy patrol party here on Tuesday, succumbed to his injuries in the Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, on Wednesday.

Sub-inspector Dad Bahadar had been killed in the incident.
