KABUL, Aug 29: Afghanistan on Tuesday offered condolences to the family of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti who was killed in a military operation in Balochistan. “We regret his death and we offer our condolences to the family of late (Nawab) Bugti,” said a spokesman for Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

Speaking at a press conference, spokesman Mohammad Karim Rahimi described Nawab Bugti as an “influential, famous Baloch tribal leader”.—AFP
