LAHORE, Aug 20: Forty-six teams will take part in the LCCA-East Zone cricket championship, which will start at different grounds from Sept 2.

The teams have been divided into four groups.

Shining Club and Aamer Memorial Club will play the opening match at the LCCA ground.

The prominent clubs which have confirmed their participation are:

Ghaziabad Sports, Qadhafi Club, Young Ludhiana Gymkhana, Servis Club, Mughalpura Gymkhana, Khan Gymkhana, Punjab Club, Young Mughalpura Greens Club, Ghari Shaho Gymkhana, Jallo Gymkhana, Shining Club, Aamer Memorial Club, Mughalpura Gymkhana, Dawn Club, Lahore Gymkhana, Raja Club, Gulberg Eaglets, Dharampura Gymkhana, Ghalib Sports, Shafqat Rana Academy, Shaheen Club, Ghalib Gymkhana, Tauseef Club, Imperial Club, Mughalpura Whites, Alharam Club, New Union Club, Fayyaz Memorial Club, Servis Colts, Baghbanpura Eaglets, Khan Sports, Prince Club, Lucky Stars Club, and Mughalpura Greens.
