GUJAR KHAN, Aug 13: Two persons died in different incidents during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, Chaudhry Ateequr Rehman (19) reportedly ended his life by shooting himself with a 30 bore pistol at his home in Dhoke Sheru on Sunday evening.

According to sources, Ateeq was running an LPG cylinder agency at Jabbar town and hailed from a well off family of the area.

The reason behind the suicide is yet not known.

In another incident, 10-year-old Mohammad Shabeer, son of Mohammad Sadiq, was hit by a speeding car as he was crossing G.T. Road on Saturday night.

The boy died while being shifted to the hospital. The boy’s father has forgiven the driver of the vehicle.
