Wrestlers named for SA Games

KARACHI, Aug 11: A seven-member Pakistan wrestling team would feature in the upcoming 10th South Asian Games in Colombo.

The team was picked by Pakistan Wrestling Federation (PWF) from amongst 15 grapplers who have undergone strenuous training in Hamedan, Iran.

The PWF has also announced cash incentives of Rs50,000, Rs30,000, Rs20,000 for winning gold, silver and bronze medals at the games which start from next Friday.

Squad: Azhar Hussain (55kg); Farooq Ahmad (60kg); Ghulam Haider (66kg); Mohammad Ali (74kg); Usman Majeed (84kg); Mohammad Umar (96kg) Bashir Bhola (120kg).
