OKARA, Aug 11: The Jamaat Ahle Sunnat took out a protest rally against Israel after Friday prayers from Ghosia mosque to Okara Press Club and the participants chanted slogans against the US and the government of Pakistan.

Different organisation of Sunni sect, including the JUP, the Jamaat Ahle Sunnat, the Sunni Tehrik, the Anjuman Nojawanan-i-Islam, the Mustafai Tehrik and the ATI condemned Israel for killing innocent unarmed people of Lebanon and Palestine.

They condemned the US for failing to stop the genocide and the Pakistan government for failing to help innocent people.

They demanded immediate stopping of bombing on Lebanon.

At the Press Club Chowk, their leaders Rafiul Qadri, Soofi Latif Naqashbandi, Nadeem Ansari, Qari Shahid Noorani and Asghar Sohail Qadri said Israel was accomplishing the US agenda of genocide of Muslims, which should be stopped immediately.

They urged the leaders of Islamic countries to take step to stop the Israeli aggression and save the Muslims all over the world.

PML DIVIDED: The PML central leadership has taken notice of the differences among the leaders of the district, especially in the context of formation of Yasin Wattoo group by five MPAs with the cooperation of four former MPAs, former district nazim and one former chairman of district council.

It is learnt that central leadership, in a message to Moeen Wattoo sent through the district administration, called him to Islamabad for a meeting to resolve the issue.

The difference between the district PML surfaced during the visit of the governor here when none of the MPAs came to see him.

The pioneers of the Yasin Wattoo group claimed that the Shah Muqeem group was weak in the district.
