Hajj draw held at Kohat varsity

KOHAT, Aug 11: A draw was held under the Hajj lottery scheme at the Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) on Friday.

Syed Vaqas Shah was declared winner and in case of his inability for any reason Mohammad Afzal will proceed to perform Hajj, a press release said.

KUST has started the Hajj scheme with the approval of the university syndicate. Under the scheme, a monthly deduction of Rs50 is made from the salary of grade 1-16 employees and Rs100 from staffers of grade 17 and above.—Correspondent
