Pakistan boxers for World Cadet

KARACHI, Aug 3: Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) on Thursday announced a three-member team for World Cadet championship from Aug 7 to 18 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The PBF said that the boxers had been selected by the Cuban coach Felipe Tomas Fonseca who will also accompany the team as manager.

Abdul Waheed will represent the country in the 46kg, Syed Mohammad Asim will fight in the 48kg, while Qadir Khan in 50kg category.

Zaigham Maseel will serve as referee/judge during the event. The squad is scheduled to leave for Turkey Thursday night.
