Two injured in ambush

LAKKI MARWAT, Aug 3: Two people, including a journalist, sustained bullet injuries when they were ambushed near a brick kiln on the Lakki Darra Tang Road on late Wednesday night.

The journalist and former president of the Lakki Press Club, Haji Samar Gul, along with his brother Sanam Gul and one of his friends Mohammad Yousuf were headed towards Lakki when his step brother Rahim Gul and his sons Shahaab Gul and Wahaab Gul opened indiscriminate fire on them. As a result Samar and Yousuf were seriously injured.
