RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) has formally launched an automated Appointment Management System to streamline patient flow, eliminate unnecessary hospital rush, and reduce waiting time for cardiac patients.

Under the new system, patients can now book OPD appointments directly via the ‘RIC Patient Home App’ on their mobile phones, making the process simpler, faster, and more convenient. There is no longer any need to visit the hospital solely to book an appointment.

The official said that RIC’s commitment to placing patients at the heart of its operations—focusing on the provision of modern facilities, digital transformation, and the continuous improvement of medical services.

The Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) developed this app and its new feature in-house through its Information Technology Department. RIC believes that technology should continuously evolve to meet the specific needs of patients.

According to the RIC management, the booking service will remain operational from Monday to Saturday between 7am and 3pm.

The hospital administration reiterated its commitment to adopting modern healthcare management solutions to deliver efficient and quality medical services to cardiac patients across the region.
