FAISALABAD: Warriors pulled off a thrilling five-wicket victory over Champions in the second match of the PCB Women’s Super Three T20 Tournament, chasing down a challenging 165-run target on the back of Eyman Fatimas explosive half-century.

Batting at number five, Eyman turned the contest around with an outstanding display of power-hitting, smashing eight sixes and five fours in her 39-ball knock of 88 to guide Warriors home with one ball to spare. When she came to the crease, Warriors needed 117 runs from 72 balls, but her remarkable innings transformed the chase and secured a memorable victory for her side.

Eyman’s aggressive approach proved decisive as she kept the required run rate under control while putting the Champions bowling attack under sustained pressure. Her match-winning knock earned her the player-of-the-match award.

Earlier, Champions posted a competitive 164, thanks to valuable contributions from Shawaal Zulfiqar, Saira Jabeen and Najiha Alvi.

Shawaal (40) top-scored, hitting three sixes and two fours while Saira remained unbeaten on 33 including five fours and one six. Similarly, Najiha also provided a late boost to the innings, scoring an unbeaten 32 off 19 with the help of three fours and two sixes.

However, Eyman’s spectacular innings overshadowed the Champions’ batting effort as Warriors completed the chase in 19.5 overs to register the win.
