LAHORE: The cloud kitchen model allows restaurant owners and home-based food businesses to sell their products without opening conventional restaurants with dine-in facilities.
This was stated by Moeen Qureshi, head of a cloud kitchen operated by an online food delivery app while speaking with journalists.
Under this arrangement, he said, food businesses prepare meals in equipped kitchens, while the app handles online ordering and connects orders with delivery riders. The model allows vendors to serve customers in different neighbourhoods without setting up separate dine-in outlets, he added.
