US Senator Chris Van Hollen has called for an end to the war on Iran, saying, “Trump’s illegal Iran war is turning into our next forever war.”
In a post on X, Van Hollen has shared an article on US-Israeli plans to renew attacks on Iran after the US midterm elections.
“Eight months in, Trump and Republicans have deluded themselves into thinking the next strike or another bombing campaign will finally bring victory,” he writes.
“From Vietnam to Iraq, we know how this ends. This war must end NOW.”
