The Muslim World League has strongly condemned Houthi attacks targeting the cities of Makkah and Madina, Al Jazeera reports.

In a statement, the Makkah-based organisation said the attacks were conducted “in disregard for the danger of frightening the feelings of more than two billion Muslims, and the violation of the values of our true religion, and the most basic principles of humanity”.

The league added that it stands in full solidarity with Saudi Arabia as it takes all necessary measures against the group.
