ISLAMABAD: Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir is due to visit Tehran on Tuesday (today), according to a Pakistani official and Iranian media.

The scheduled visit follows earlier talks between Field Marshal Munir and Iranian leaders in the summer that focused on measures to prevent further escalation and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
