Iran’s Parliament Speaker Bagher Ghalibaf warns regional governments, funds and firms against providing resources to AI or data companies “aiding invasions or killing children”, announcing that a body to oversee data in the region, the “Persian Gulf Data Authority”, is soon to be established.
“No finance, equity, land and energy. Assist them and face our enforcement,” he said in a post on X.
