Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has thanked Qatar for its “continuous” cooperation and support amid ongoing attacks by Israeli forces, Al Jazeera reports.
“This is nothing new, of course,” he says, speaking alongside Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. “We can never forget Qatar’s support in some of our darkest hours, namely after the 2006 war [with Israel].”
