NAROWAL: Two teenage motorcycle-riding sisters lost their lives after being run over by a tractor-trolley near village Burj Cheema in Daska on Thursday.

The victims were identified as 14-year-old Mansi and 12-year-old Muntaha, daughters of Abdul Manaf Cheema.

Muhammad Waseem, a spokesperson for Rescue 1122 Sialkot, said both sisters were returning home after doing shopping in Daska city.

They were attempting to overtake the tractor-trolley when their motorcycle allegedly skidded and fell.

The girls were run over by the tractor-trolley, which was approaching from behind.

Mr Waseem reported that both girls had died on impact.

The rescue team handed over the bodies to the police who transported them to the Daska hospital for a postmortem examination.

ACCIDENT: Two young men lost their lives and two others sustained critical injuries as a speeding truck crushed their motorcycles at Kot Pindi Das near the motorway bridge in tehsil Ferozewala of district Sheikhupura.
