Sean Gunn retires from playing Rocket

Sean Gunn has retired from performing the on-set motion capture for Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy films because of the physical demands.
Gunn, who recently turned 50, said the crouched position and repeated pivoting strain his feet and ankles and “hurt after a while”.
Bradley Cooper voices Rocket, while Gunn provided the character’s on-set motion reference in all three Guardians of the Galaxy films, released in 2014, 2017 and 2023.
Gunn also plays Kraglin Obfonteri in the Marvel films, including Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Endgame and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.
Transformers’ re-release extends theatrical run

The 40th-anniversary rerelease of The Transformers: The Movie has extended its theatrical run after strong box office results.
The remastered 4K film earned $3.1 million from 1,454 North American theatres over its opening weekend and has grossed more than $5 million worldwide.
The film’s “Apology Tour” campaign refers to the shocking death of Optimus Prime in the 1986 movie. The rerelease also includes Optimus Prime: Awakening, featuring the final performance of long-time voice actor Peter Cullen, who died last month at 85.
The original film, released in 1986, has since gained a cult following. Its voice cast included Orson Welles, Leonard Nimoy and Judd Nelson.
Gleeson won’t return as Bill Weasley

Domhnall Gleeson, who played Bill Weasley in the final two Harry Potter films, says he has no plans to return to the wizarding world.
Rupert Grint will reprise his role as Ron Weasley in the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, following Tom Felton’s return as Draco Malfoy. Gleeson, however, is happy to leave Bill Weasley in the past.
Gleeson is also ready to pass the role of Bill to a new actor in HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series, which premieres in December. The series stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. Bill has not yet been cast.
