SUKKUR: Members of the Primary Teachers Association (PTA) from Sukkur City and New Sukkur talukas staged a protest and observed a token hunger strike in Sukkur on Wednesday, demanding that the Sindh government approve their service structure and address other long-standing demands.
The protest was held on the call of the association’s central leadership. Teachers chanted slogans against the provincial government and demanded measures to protect their employment rights and resolve their outstanding issues.
