LARKANA: An eight-year-old boy died after receiving an electrical shock from a dangling live wire in People’s Colony on Monday.

According to details, Sohrab fell unconscious after coming into contact with the wire.

His family rushed him in critical condition to the emergency department of the Chandka Medical Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

His father, Waqar Mirani, alleged that the wire had been left hanging in the area for several days owing to negligence on the part of Sepco officials.
