KARACHI: Three persons were killed when a wall of a local Union Council (UC) office collapsed on them near Malir Bakra Piri on Friday evening, police and rescue officials said.

Malir City police official Rana Abdul Rasheed said the UC-2 office in Ghazi Goth was situated near a rickshaw stand. He said a dilapidated wall of the office collapsed, injuring the two passers-by and a motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist, identified as Faiz Abbas, 25, and one of the passers-by, Abrar, 14, died on the spot.

Abrar’s six-year-old brother, Abyan, was seriously injured and shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), where he died during treatment.
