Residents report hearing a powerful boom in the vicinity of Aden airport in southern Yemen, according to Reuters.

There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage, and the cause of the sound is not immediately clear.

Yemen’s transport ministry says the airport was attacked earlier this week by the Houthis with ballistic missiles and explosive-laden drones.
