PSCA provided guidance to 9,261 youths

LAHORE: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has rendered assistance, guidance and counselling to 9,261 citizens through its newly launched ‘Next Gen Safety App’.

The initiative was taken to support young citizens facing mental stress, anxiety, domestic difficulties and other psychological challenges, offering accessible and confidential psychological guidance from trained professionals.

According to the PSCA’s spokesperson, out of 9,261 cases, as many as 2,740 citizens sought support without disclosing their identities, enabling individuals to seek help while maintaining their privacy.

He said a total of 2,652 video calls had been conducted through the app, during which citizens received direct assistance and guidance from trained professionals.

The spokesperson underscored that trained psychologists at the PSCA were providing guidance to citizens dealing with mental stress, domestic problems, emotional difficulties and other psychological concerns.
