Three killed, two injured in separate incidents

TAXILA: Three people were killed and two others were injured, including a woman, in four separate incidents across Attock and Taxila on Sunday, police sources said.

In the first incident, a man was gunned down in village Musa, within the limits of Hazro Police Station. Police sources said that 30-year-old Sagheer Ali was on his way home when an unknown masked man shot him with a 12-bore gun and fled. Police, quoting the family, attributed the cold-blooded murder to an old feud.

Moreover, a rickshaw driver was gunned down in Pind Sultani village, within the limits of Jand Police Station. Police sources said that 40-year-old Mohammad Sohail was parking his rickshaw outside his house when an unknown gunman shot him dead and fled.

Separately, a teenage boy died when his motorcycle skidded off the road on Faisal Shaheed road, Taxila. Police sources said that Muhammad Ahsan was riding his motorcycle when he lost control and his head hit the road, resulting in his death on the spot.

Meanwhile, a couple sustained multiple injuries when two motorcycles collided in the Injra Naka area, within the limits of Jand Police Station. Police sources said that Khushrang Khan, along with his wife Kosar Perveen, was riding his motorcycle when another motorcycle collided head-on, resulting in serious injuries to the couple.

Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to THQ Hospital, Pindigheb. The respective police registered separate cases and launched further investigations.
