PTV stunned by Dera-XI

LAHORE, July 26: Pakistan Television which started their campaign on a winning note against Bannu Red on Tuesday failed to maintain their form on Wednesday when they were held to a 1-1 draw by D. I. Khan's Dera-XI in Group-II match of the sixth PFF Cup at the University of Agriculture Ground, Faisalabad.

According to information provided by the Pakistan Football Federation, Dera-XI gave early blow to PTV in the third minute when Naveed Ahmed scored the first goal.

Naimatullah scored the equaliser in the 55th minute of the match.

In another match, Punjab Medical College beat Baloch Club, Noshki 2-0.

Amir Hamza scored both the goals for the winners.

After completion of four matches in Group-I, Sui Southern Gas Company and PMC led the table with four points followed by Mauripur Baloch (three points).

Thursday’s fixtures: PMC v Mauripur Baloch at 7am; SSGC v Baloch Club, Noshki at 5pm.—APP
