QUETTA, July 26: Three people were injured when a tractor was blown up in a landmine explosion in the Tali Mat area of Dera Bugti on Wednesday.
An exchange of fire was also reported between security forces and militants. Official sources said the three villagers were going to their fields in the tractor that hit the landmine on a road.
A senior police officer in Sui said the injured – Rozi Bugti, Tao Bugti and Sher Mohammad Bugti – had been admitted to a Sui hospital.
After the incident, police and personnel of other law- enforcement agencies visited the site and conducted a search to clean the area of landmines.
