PTV trounce Bannu Red

FAISALABAD, July 25: Naimatullah and Asmatullah scored two goals each as Pakistan Television outclassed Bannu Red 4-0 in the Group-II match of the sixth Pakistan Football Federation Cup here at the University of Agriculture Ground on Tuesday.

PTV dominated the proceedings right from the beginning and gave no chance to their opponents.

Naimatullah scored his first goal in the 26th minute of the match. Asmatullah doubled the lead before interval.

Asmat's header off a free-kick gave his side their third goal in the 86th minute while Naimat completed the tally at the fag end.

In another match, Sui Southern Gas Company beat Mauripur Baloch 1-0 to gain maximum points in the competition.

Striker Zahid scored the winner in the 60th minute.

Wednesday’s fixtures: PTV v Dera XI: 7am; Baloch Club, Quetta v Bannu Red: 5pm.—PPI
