KARACHI: Two suspected robbers were gunned down in an alleged encounter in North Nazimabad on Sunday evening, police said.
They said that personnel of Shaheen Force signalled two men riding a motorbike to stop near Karachi Medical and Dental College in Block M. However, the suspects resorted to firing and police returned fire, killing both of them on the spot.
The police claimed to have recovered two pistols, three cell phones and a motorcycles from their custody.
Stabbed to death
A man was stabbed to death in the Quaidabad area on Sunday evening, police said.
They said that the incident took place near Siddiqia Masjid, where unknown person(s) killed 40-year-old Shafiullah Khan with a knife and fled.
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a post-mortem examination.
