KARACHI: Speaking on the occasion of the third death anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah … Mr Liaquat Ali Khan … said: “Every Pakistani … should struggle to make Pakistan strong.” Addressing the people of Kashmir, the Prime Minister said: “Kashmiri brethren do not think that Pakistan can ever forget you. Do not think that Pakistan can rest in peace unless you are liberated. You should not be disheartened. We have decided to liberate you.” Referring to the “Constituent Assembly” elections in the Bharati-occupied Kashmir, Mr Liaquat Ali said: “This election based as it is on fraud and falsehood is similar to the decision of the Maharaja to accede to India.”
[Meanwhile, news agencies add,] Dr Frank Graham, [UN Representative], gave a demonstration of “stick twirling” in the VIP Room at the Karachi Airport on Wednesday [Sept 12] … soon before his departure for Geneva. He said the stick was too small, otherwise he could give a perfect “Drum demonstration of the Major Twirling’ feat.
