LAHORE, July 23: The day and night Lahore Summer Meeting races were postponed on Sunday due to heavy rains. The races will now be held on Tuesday.
Lahore Race Club steward Parvaiz Hussain Shah inspected the racecourse after the rain and found it waterlogged, slippery and unfit for racing.
The handicaps and programme will remain unchanged except six horses, who have been withdrawn from the races. —A.G.
