Lawyers strike against outages

KASUR, July 22: Lawyers observed a complete strike on the call given by the District Bar Association against unending power failure.

This decision to observe a strike was taken at a meeting held at here on Friday which was attended by more than 400 bar members.

Kasur and its adjoining areas have been witnessing unprecedented “load shedding” for the last six days. Besides lawyers, business community and other organisations have expressed their concern over frequent power outages.

They demanded that the authorities concerned should look into the matter and resolve it.
