Iran’s currency has dropped to a record low of more than 2,000,000 rials per US dollar, two websites tracking the free market rate showed, according to Reuters.
If the authorities felt terrorism was increasing in some tribal districts and adjoining areas, they could have limited themselves to imposing a targeted emergency under Article 232.
