MULTAN: Pakistan Greens maintained their unbeaten run in the National Champions Cup with a commanding 192-run victory over Pakistan Blues at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Mohammad Suleman struck his second List A century, remaining unbeaten on 101 off 103 balls, as Greens posted 302-6 in 50 overs after being put into bat. It was their second successive total of more than 300.

Suleman anchored the innings with a 135-run third-wicket partnership with Saad Baig, who scored 77 off 73 balls, before Farhan Yousaf added 51 off 41 in a brisk 90-run stand with Suleman.

Greens lost opener Omair Bin Yousuf for 33 and Sameer Minhas for 17 before Suleman and Saad steadied the innings. Their partnership took Greens past 200 before Farhan accelerated the scoring in the latter stages.

Hasan Ali took two wickets for Blues, while Mohammad Faiq, Arafat Minhas, Ahmed Daniyal and Sufyan Moqim claimed one each.

Blues’ chase got off to a poor start when Maaz Sadaqat was run out by Arshad Iqbal in the second over.

Faheem Ashraf then struck three times, removing Sahibzada Farhan for 19, Faiq for 18 and Mohammad Irfan Khan for two, while Shadab Khan dismissed Tayyab Tahir for 14 as Blues slipped to 58-5 in 12.4 overs.

Arafat Minhas offered some resistance with 38 off 40 balls and shared a 30-run partnership with Hasan Ali, but Blues were eventually bowled out for 110 in 23.5 overs.

Faheem finished with 3-14, while Salman Mirza and Mohammad Hasnain claimed two wickets apiece. Shadab and Mehran Mumtaz took one each.

Greens had already secured their place in the final and rested Fakhar Zaman and Naseem Shah for the match, with Suleman and Arshad Iqbal replacing them.
