LAHORE: A five-race card featuring two cup events marks the Independence Day celebrations during a night race meeting scheduled to be held here at the racecourse on Sunday.
The feature event, the Independence Day Cup, to be gone over 1000 metres, a Class VII division I and II race, contains seven runners.
Nine runners will compete in the supporting event, the Jashan-e-Azaadi Cup which is a class VII division III and IV race to be run over 1000 metres,.
The first race will be held at 7:00pm.
