Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Mikhail Ulyanov has criticised the US for calling for freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, calling their logic “not understandable”, Al Jazeera reports.
“It wants freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, but this freedom was ruined by the US aggression against Iran,” he writes in a post on X. “Now they want to remove the consequences of their strategic mistake through the continuation of war. Something is wrong here.”
