MITHI, July 19: The conductor of a van was killed and 17 passengers were injured when a van overturned on the Badin-Mithi road, near the Khariwah village, about seven kilometres from here, on Wednesday morning.

According to eyewitnesses, the Mithi-bound van from Badin overturned near the Khariwah village. Conductor Wali Mohammad, 30, was killed on the spot and 17 passengers were injured.

Injured Rajab Ali, Bheemon, Bhamro, Gulab, Sehwak, Bheemraj, Majid, Din Mohammad, Sain Bux, Nale Chango, Aatam, Isro and Razzaq were rushed to the civil hospital, Mithi, and injured Ali Mohammad, Wahid, Niazi Bai and Mukesh were taken to Hyderabad.
