SUKKUR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Sukkur has launched an inquiry into alleged commercial and illegal human organ transplantation at the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) hospital.
According to an FIA Crime and Anti-Human Trafficking Circle has requested complete records for two liver transplants. Additionally, the agency has required genetic testing records to establish biological relationships between donors and recipients, alongside identification documents and relevant legal records by Aug 20.
Earlier, the FIA Sukkur summoned four GIMS doctors to appear before investigating officials.
