PESHAWAR, July 19: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has asked power consumers to take precautionary measures to avoid electric shocks during the monsoon season.

In a press release issued here on Wednesday, Pesco also asked people to report at its complaint centres or call on 9212010 or 111-000-128 if they found any damaged electricity cable on the ground or current in electric poles.

It advised people not to hang laundry on metal wires and replace worn out power wires before the beginning of monsoon season.

It requested the people to properly repair irons and while pressing clothes put some carpet or mat under their foot to avoid electrocution and not to tie cattle with electricity poles or supporting wires.
