QUETTA: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has de-notified Nawab Jangeez Khan Marri, who was declared successful from PB-9 constituency, following an order of the election tribunal, and announced re-polling for the Kohlu seat on Aug 27.

Re-polling will be held from 8am till 5pm at four polling stations in PB-9 Kohlu, after the decision of Balochistan’s Election Tribunal-III, according to the Election Commission of Pakistan, which cancelled its earlier notification declaring Mr Marri the winner.

The Election Commission of Pakistan directed the relevant authorities to make necessary arrangements for the re-polling and ensure adequate security at the four polling stations.
