HYDERABAD: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has served a call-up notice on Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) President Barrister Ayaz Latif Palijo, directing him to appear before the inquiry officer in Karachi on Aug 10.
According to the notice issued on Friday by Inspector Ghulam Murtaza Kaka from Karachi, an inquiry against Palijo has been registered by the agency following approval from the competent authority.
The QAT chief was warned that non-compliance with the summons would entail legal proceedings punishable under Section 174 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). The call-up notice has been served under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
