Biker injured by stray kite string

LAHORE: A young bike rider was hospitalised with a deep cut on his neck soon after string of a stray kite struck him in Gulberg here on Thursday.

Reports said Haris Khalid (23) was on his way to a local market. As he reached Tipu Road, the string of a stray kite entangled around his neck.

The young man suffered a deep cut on his neck and he was immediately rushed to the Services Hospital by the Rescue 1122 staff in a serious condition.

The police launched inquiries into the incident to trace the violators of the kite-flying law.
