KARACHI: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three private security guards over charges of openly displaying arms in violation of laws in the Defence Housing Authority.

The Darakhshan police said the held suspects — Farhan Mumtaz, Noor Nawaz and Inayat Ali — were in plain clothes and involved in open display of weapons.

The police have also seized their arms and registered an FIR against them under relevant laws.
