ISLAMABAD, July 17: The Foreign Office on Monday said Pakistanis in Lebanon were safe and its mission there was in touch with the Pakistani community. “Our ambassador in Beirut along with essential staff continue to be operational and are in touch with the Pakistani community,” a Foreign Office statement said.

According to the statement, the Pakistani ambassador had reported that while some Pakistanis had left Lebanon due to the Israeli air attacks, those remaining were safe.

“The ambassador and her staff remain available to all members of the community to provide advice, help and assistance wherever needed,” the statement said.—Q.A.
