ISLAMABAD: PTI leaders and the sisters of its founding chairman Imran Khan were, once again, not allowed to meet the incarcerated ex-premier on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters outside Adiala jail, Imran’s sister Aleema Khan said that family members had informed the jail administration of their arrival to meet him, but did not receive any response.
While announcing plans to launch a countrywide movement to demand his release, she said she received an overwhelming public response during her recent visit to Hazara division. “People have started loving Imran Khan even more and are demanding his release,” she said.
About KP CM Afridi’s claim of a “semi-final” on Aug 5, Imran’s sister Noreen Niazi said the date should instead mark the “final”.
