PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) and Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the introduction of computer-based testing (CBT) for public sector recruitment.

A statement issued here on Tuesday stated that under the agreement, ETEA would provide KPPSC with advanced CBT technology, technical assistance and technology transfer, enabling the commission to conduct recruitment examination in line with international standards and best practices.

The partnership also focuses on strengthening institutional capacity through professional training of KPPSC officers and staff, equipping them with the technical expertise required to effectively implement and manage computer-based examinations.

The introduction of CBT is expected to make the examination process faster, more secure, transparent and efficient, while providing candidates with access to a world-class digital testing environment, the statement said.

The initiative is also anticipated to significantly enhance the integrity, reliability, security and overall quality of recruitment examinations, the statement concluded.
