Two wardens held for harassment

LAHORE: Police claimed on Wednesday to have arrested two traffic wardens involved in harassing a car-riding family.

Traffic assistants Rizwan and Munawar were deputed in traffic response unit. They were involved in harassing a car-riding family near the old airport. A complaint of harassment was lodged against them some days ago.

The chief traffic office ordered an inquiry into the matter. Both the traffic wardens were found guilty of harassing the family.

The inquiry committee ordered to arrest the wardens and register a case on the complaint of incharge old airport under section 155 of PPC.
