LAHORE, July 16: PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif says there is no rule of law in Pakistan and it is for this reason that the government remains unmoved despite the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Steel Mills privatisation case.

Addressing by phone from London a meeting on the death anniversary of a party leader here on Sunday, he said the rule of law could be seen in Britain where a close friend of the prime minister had been arrested on the charge of “favours for cash”.

Former president Rafiq Tarar asked the people to come out on the streets to dislodge the rulers who he alleged were bent upon breaking up the country.

He held the rulers responsible for the stock market crash.

Sirdar Zulfikar Khosa, Tehmina Daulatana, Saad Rafiq, Zaeem Qadri, Pervaiz Malik, Mian Marghoob, Mian Mujtaba, Haji Sharif, Mian Javed Lateef and many others also addressed.
